U.S. actress Angelina Jolie arrived on the Greek island of Lesbos on Thursday (17 MARCH 2016) to talk to non-governmental organisations helping with the migration crisis.
The Hollywood star also visited the Moria Registration Camp, where migrants and refugees are assessed after finding their way to the Greek island.
Jolie is a United Nations refugee agency special envoy.
More than 300 refugees and migrants have arrived on the island's shores in recent days, despite strong winds and the closed Greek-Macedonian border.
Lesbos has borne the brunt of arrivals, with more than a million people reaching Greece from Turkey on flimsy smugglers' boats over the past 15 months.
