A pair of passenger services running between Ipswich and Peterborough, and Cambridge and Ipswich are seen at Thurston Railway Station on the Ipswich to Ely / Cambridge line. At the Ipswich end, the station's platforms are connected by a footpath level crossing which has LED Unipart Dorman red/green miniature stop lights, as well as two rather loud audible alarms which very much dominate the audio whilst they activate and until the trains pass.
