Watch and pray, no one knows the day or the hour

Описание: Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins
who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Five were wise, and five were foolish.
The foolish took no oil with them,
but the wise carried oil in their vessels.

And at midnight a cry was heard:
“Behold, the bridegroom is coming!
Go out and meet Him!”

Carrying lamps into the night,
watching for His light.
Five were wise and filled with oil,
five were careless in the night.

While the door was open wide,
mercy lingered in the air.
Every moment whispered softly,
“Be awake… prepare.”

Watch and pray,
no one knows the day or the hour
when He will appear.

Guard the oil, remain awake,
let your faith outshine all fear.
The Bridegroom is near,
the Bridegroom is near.

אל תתני לאש למות היום

כשהזעקה תבקע שמים בהוד
הדלת נפתחת לרווחה
ניכנס בשמחה לחיי עולם

Awake, O sleeping bride!
Prepare your lamp to shine in the dark.
Do not let the fire die tonight,
when the cry splits the heavens in glory.

The door will open wide,
and we'll enter joyfully into life eternal.
For the Bridegroom is drawing near.

“Give us your fire,” they cried in despair,
as their fading light grew dim.
But oil is sacred, it can’t be shared,
it’s a life poured out for Him.

While they searched for what was gone,
the ready ones went in.
The wedding feast had just begun…
and the door was closed within.

Let our garments all stay white,
as we wait for our coming King.
May we not be found unfaithful,
but faithful in everything.

Holding fast to every word,
walking in His holy way.
Watching for the midnight cry
that will call His bride away.
