Man turned his back on the One who made us all.
They cried out to Baal for the harvest and rain,
While their lifeless souls were sinking in the flame.

Elijah led them where the dry winds blow,
To prove that dust is all they truly know.
“How long will you waver from what is true?
If יהוה reigns forever — who else will you choose?”

(Fire fell down from the heavens high)
אלוהי אברהם יצחק ויעקב
(God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob)
יהוה צבאות עמנו
(The Lord of Hosts is here with us)

They shouted at statues and cut their skin,
But a wooden god cannot breathe within.
Clay cannot hear and silver can’t see,
They hold no fire, no authority.

But the אלוהים of thunder and light
Hears the whisper in the darkest night.
They drenched the altar, the waters poured,
Yet one single word — and heaven roared.

Today the world walks fast asleep,
Bowing to modern Baals they keep.
Gold and fame and fragile pride,
Blind in spirit, burning inside.

Awake, O people — rise from delay!
Idolatry’s end is a bitter way.
יהוה צבאות, the Sovereign King,
Holds your life in His hands unseen.

What is clay? It fades away.
What is wood? It cannot save.
Only the God who answers by fire,
The God of Israel, eternal and higher.

Only יהוה.
