For National Public Gardens Week, see the story of the Shofuso Historic Landscape Restoration 2020 Pebble Beach Installation as a five-part video series. They will air on our social media channels and Youtube beginning Friday, May 8 and ending on Sunday, May 17.
In Part II, "Design & Drawing, Shofuso's Head Gardner Sandi Polyakov explores his inspiration and the design and drawing stages of implementing the new pebble beach, which is based on Tansai Sano's original 1957 landscape plan for Shofuso.
