You're no longer there to comfort them.

They are looking for the connection they had with you.

Since you're no longer together, you're not obligated to give them your time.

And they certainly can't demand it from you.

See here's the thing...

If you give in to their every little tantrum, it'll only make them think its okay to treat you this way.

Not only that, they'll start to think that's the way to get things from you

WITHOUT committing to you.

Is that what you want?

If your answer is no,

What do you do?

You stand your ground.

One important thing about this process of healing is to practice self respect.

It's about learning your worth and what it is that you deserve.

It's okay to be firm in what is right by you.

It's okay to tell your ex that you dont want to engage with them until they are emotionally ready to do so.

It's okay to not want to engage with someone who is looking for a fight.

It's okay to stand your ground!
