In this tutorial, Dave introduces a rock/metal riff, and then analyses it, examining the notes involved, and how they relate back to the parent scale/key. The objective here isn't to teach you how to play this riff 'as is', but rather to show you some ideas that you can incorporate into your own riff-writing.
