Описание: Are you an introvert in the corporate world? You are not alone. Navigating an extroverted landscape is definitely challenging especially when it comes to communication. As introverts, we ponder on our thoughts more and not so much in speech, but it the corporate world, this may be the difference in being able to move up or remaining stagnant.

Being shy. That's what I thought I was before I learned what the word introvert meant. Talking to people makes me nervous and often times, I panic. I start sweating bullets, I stutter with my words, and I blank out. Also, English is not my native language so the amount of stress I feel in a short period of time skyrockets to anxiety. I'm scared of small talk, and after I engage in one, I spend the next hour thinking about the stuff I said, the way I sounded, and cringing about it in my thoughts.

This was me then, and a little of it now. Through the years, I learned how important it was to communicate with the people you are working with. Company's today are not just looking for people who can do the job, but they also look for the person who can integrate in their team seamlessly. I have grown a lot since experiencing this in the past, and have been more social in both my personal and professional life. I love the place I'm working at right now, and helping myself communicate with my peers have made this journey easier and more fulfilling.

2. Be vulnerable and authentic. Story is king. Don't stress too much on the visuals, cinematography, filmmaking, etc. Those will come with practice. For now, STORY!
