Welcome back to Week 2 of The Late Start Club ⏰
This is your space if you didn’t overhaul your life in January, if you felt a little behind, or if you just wanted a softer, smarter way to build a habit that actually supports you.
Remember the challenge:
Come back to this breath every day between now and next Wednesday.
Morning, afternoon, or night. No pressure. Just consistency.
This week’s breathwork is one of my favourites: The Negative Chop.
✨ Releases built-up tension in the body through strong, rhythmic movement
✨ Shifts stagnant emotional energy, helping you move out of stress and into flow
✨ Encourages a powerful exhale, signalling to the body that it’s safe to let go
✨ Wakes up circulation and oxygen flow, bringing fresh energy into the system
✨ Supports nervous system regulation, helping you feel more centred and steady
Practices like this also support neuroplasticity, which is the brain’s ability to create new pathways and patterns. The more we show up for small, consistent practices like this, the more we train our brain to respond to stress with regulation instead of overwhelm.
In other words... we’re far more capable than we often believe.
This week’s affirmation:
I can do more than I think.
Every time you return to this breath, you’re strengthening that belief in yourself.
This challenge isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, one breath, one day at a time and building that “I can actually stick to this” energy.
