The leaders of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) have been called upon to promote their party’s achievements while also acknowledging and taking responsibility for shortcomings during their time in power. The call was made by Fr. Anthony Musaala while leading a special Mass of prayer for candidates contesting various political positions. The Mass was held at Lubaga Cathedral.
With 25 days remaining before the 2026 general elections, the Church organized the special prayer Mass to dedicate all aspirants seeking leadership positions to God. The Mass, which began at 10:00 a.m., was led by Fr. Musaala and was attended by candidates from different political parties, including the National Unity Platform (NUP), Democratic Front, NEED, as well as independent candidates.#NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition
