In my search for more flow trails here in Durango, as well as climbs that don't feel like going straight up from the parking lot, I came across Overend Mountain Park aka "The Test Tracks".
What I found when I got there were beautiful views over Durango and miles of beautifully-forested single-track.
After a very sweaty climb to the top, I was treated to Star Wars, one of the funnest flow trails I've ever ridden, and as it drops more than 250 feet from the top to the bottom, in less than half a mile, it's also the steepest.
This trail will have you feeling like you're running the trench on the Death Star, dodging TIE fighters, and about to secure your victory over The Empire.
