Mark Eldridge: Conservation genomics informs management of the warru in arid South Australia

Описание: Dr Mark Eldridge (Senior Principal Research Scientist, Terrestrial Vertebrates, Australian Museum Research Institute, Australian Museum, Sydney, Australia) will be presenting Conservation genomics informs management of the warru (Petrogale lateralis centralis) in arid South Australia.

Mark is a molecular ecologist, who uses genetic and genomic methods to help understand the biology of Australasia’s unique fauna, especially marsupials, and inform conservation and management efforts.

He graduated with a PhD in genetics from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia in 1992 and has been a Research Scientist at the Australian Museum, Sydney since 2007.
