Barbara Buehler, a city planner and Aesthetic Realism associate says: “As I studied Monet’s painting I saw that in the artist’s technique is the answer to that big question in people’s lives, how to be serious and solidly grounded, yet light-hearted and at ease in this world.”
This talk was originally given in the historic Terrain Gallery series titled "Aesthetic Realism Shows How Art Answers the Questions of Your Life!" Aesthetic Realism is the education founded by the great American poet and critic Eli Siegel. The painting is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
