Hope you’re doing well. I haven’t necessarily had the best week, I got a last minute driving test through a test shift app, I have literally been trying to get a driving test for almost a year, the back log is SO bad at my local test centre. I finally got one with 3 weeks notice, so I had been out driving every single day for hours with my family members, and driving instructor. Switching gears is basically second nature for me now. I revised the show me tell me questions and watched SO many videos on YouTube by conquer driving, videos on the roads near me. I even got an app with the test routes of the test centre near me to try and be over prepared. Day of the test rolls by, I literally got the HARDEST test route, at rush hour, in the dark. The driving instructor was so professional and I was very intimidated, I had put so much work in and honestly I was so so nervous. Started the route and I instantly knew the route, I got the worst freaking one and the weather was terrible, with cars all over, he was asking me questions as we pulled up to the worst freaking roundabout ever, I could not find a space because it was a right turn and it was just SO busy, all the cars were going across so I couldn’t pull out. Finally I saw a spot, and when I pulled away I stalled. The rest of the test route contrived of disgusting roads that I really wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t practiced, but I managed it really well. I said all my checks out loud like ‘mirror, mirror, signal’ etc. He said the rest was perfect and it was a shame I stalled, he said I shouldn’t lose my confidence and I should try and get another test as soon as possible. I’m just so bummed because I don’t think I’m going to be able to get another test before I start studying again ;( where I’m going I won’t be able to take a driving test.

I was so disappointed that when I got home I started the bloodborne dlc and spent the evening and following day absolutely raging, it did take my mind off it all though. Ludwig was a pain, if I didn’t know about that extra summon idk what I would’ve done. Valtr was an absolute tank lol. Vicar Laurence however… fought him afterwards, used the summon and my gosh, I honestly must’ve fought him like 70 times, it’s a bit embarrassing. That final form was so brutal, I managed to kill him because somehow I got lucky and Valtr stayed alive til Laurence was at about 30% health. I kept to Laurence’s right side and swiped a few hits on him when he did that spewing lava attack. I died to him though when he literally had 1% left, I was SO annoyed hHahaha. I did finally beat him though, I was so locked in. Used the whirlgig saw, bolt paper, I used the cannon because I could not parry him, I also used the hunter’s bone as well so I could dodge faster in his final phase. However I kinda wish I left Laurence til after Maria. Fighting the living failures and Maria felt easy after Laurence. Maria was the coolest fight ever, her lore is so interesting too. I loved the Research Hall area, such an interesting area. What I’m struggling with is those two sharks down the well that have Maria’s Rakuyo. Omg I’ve probably died to them like 20 times, I heard you can use a shaman bone to make one attack his friend but I’ve got 1 left which means I have to farmmmm…. ;’((( ugh. Honestly, sometimes the biggest boss in bloodborne is the camera.

ANYWAY! I also got Elden ring, literally yesterday I got it! I am very excited :D I haven’t played much of it but wow the world is so big, I don’t even know where to start haha!
