Thanks to Fr. Kevin in St Eunan's Cathedral, Letterkenny, for giving Paul and myself the opportunity to record the Lament of the Three Marys for this Easter Weekend. Aughaninshin Abbey and Old Leck were swathed in beautiful sunshine in the morning and late evening, and I was stunned to capture the most magnificent sun I have ever seen, shining over Leck last night.
Thanks to Paul for playing cello and for mixing the audio, with the help and guidance of Colm Ferriter. I hadn't ever heard of this beautiful song until Spy Wednesday, Is aoibhinn liom é agus tá súil agam go mbeidh seans agam féin agus Pól é a casadh uair éigin nuair atá Covid thart.
