Delighted to write 'Wee Dangle' and record with Percy Robinson, with permission from Pat Gallagher to use the 'build a wall' section of 'Las Vegas in the Hills of Donegal' as my inspiration, featuring the amazing vocals of Adele Evans, (my Letterkenny Panto partner in crime 2025) and Jason McCahill (he ain't no Nathan Carter!) of Glór Tíre and Blue Ribbon fame (!) Also, thrilled that Daniel, Majella and Margo all gave the thumbs up for us to put this together, this really is a Donegal effort.
From the wains of Lurgybrack Country Music Choir, to Scór an Chlochán Liath, Bridie, Conor O Donnell, Taylor Stewart and all the Owenies Bar Dancers in Dungloe, to the Early's Country jivers, Helena, Rose, TR and Kevin, all the dancers (victims) who joined in the craic, and of course, the absolutely fantastically fun duo that is Daniel and Majella, we will never get over that hilarious facetime when we were quaking with nerves and anticipation, such a wonderful couple. Let's not forget Mr Panto Patrick Doherty (and son Paul) for giving Adele and me the parts of Stump and Dangle in this year's panto, and all the panto family who completely support and got behind us to make this wee Dangle vision a reality. Thanks to my mum, dad, daughter Caela, and everyone who was made suffer our hyperactive delight this past week, we just knew it was going to be a cracker!
