Today we’re showcasing Greninja ex from the Mega Rising set, and this card is WAY better than people think. Greninja ex comes with a powerful ability that gives your Water Pokémon free retreat as long as you switch to another Water Pokémon—making this deck incredibly flexible and fast.

To maximize its potential, we pair Greninja ex with Suicune ex, one of the strongest and most consistent Water Pokémon from the previous season. Suicune ex’s Legendary Pulse lets us draw cards at the end of every turn, helping us set up Greninja ex quickly and maintain hand advantage throughout the match.

We also run Mantyke for early-game energy acceleration and bench filling, which boosts Suicune ex’s damage. The regular Greninja is included as a counter to Oricorio and for additional spread damage from the bench.

For supporters, we run:
• 2× Copycat – Perfect redraw option and counter to disruptive cards like Red Card and Mars
• 2× Cyrus – Pull damaged Pokémon to secure clean KOs
• 2× Rare Candy – Fast evolution into Greninja ex
• 1× Giant Cape – Extra survivability against high-damage decks

This Greninja ex + Suicune build has real tournament potential, especially if Mega Blaziken ex becomes popular in ranked play. The deck is fun, fast, and surprisingly strong against the current meta!
