Devil Kings - Azure Dragon Stage 6 | Fall of the High Temple

Описание: This is the final fight for Azure Dragon's story. You don't actually have to do this battle last, as you sort of get choices of which force you can attack in between stages. I just saved this one for last cuz it was appropriate.

Every character has a specific cutscene, sometimes more than one, that play when attacking a certain force. Azure Dragon's plays whenever he attacks Devil King, which plays an anime cutscene. Which is pretty unique and one aspect of this game I really like.

This stage has us fight Hornet, Lady Butterfly, and Devil King at High Temple. Otherwise known as Ranmaru, No, and Nobunaga at Honnoji. It's a pretty linear stage and is sort of set up like it's meant to be a boss rush of sorts so it's pretty appropriate for a finale. The hardest one to fight is obviously Devil King, who his pretty hard and can blast you from afar with his shotgun if he's so inclined. In fact, all of these characters have long range attacks so you benefit from being aggressive against them. Nobunaga also locks the door once you enter the temple, so you aren't allow to retreat and get health items when fighting him if you start to struggle. Keep that in mind when going to face him.

After that we get to see Azure Dragon's ending cutscene. Which is him cheering that he's conquered the land and then realizing all of his friends have died. How he didn't realize that before I have no idea, but it just ends on that. Kind of a flat ending but I honestly wasn't expecting anything else.
