Parota Sherva Recipe (Points Wise)
1.Grind tomatoes into a smooth gravy and keep aside.
2.Take a mixer and add:
1 Onion
2 Green chilli
4 lavangalu (cloves)
4 miriyalu (black pepper)
5 garlic cloves
3 ginger pieces
2 yalukalu (cardamom)
Small piece dhalchina chekka (cinnamon)
1 spoon sompu (fennel seeds)
½ spoon jeelakarra (cumin seeds)
Small piece pachi kobbara (fresh coconut)
½ spoon gasgasalu (poppy seeds)
½ spoon thella nuvvu (white sesame seeds)
10 cashews
Biriyani flower (small piece)
Little water
Grind into a smooth paste and keep aside.
3.Take a pan and add 4 spoons of oil.
4.After oil heats, add:
Dhalchina chekka (cinnamon)
Lavangalu (cloves)
Sompu (fennel seeds)
Biriyani puvvu (biryani flower)
Yalukalu (cardamom)
Add green chilli, onions, and salt as per taste. 5.Fry until onions become soft.
6.Pour the tomato gravy and cook until oil releases.
7.Add:
1 spoon karam (red chilli powder)
½ spoon turmeric powder
Cook until oil releases again.
Add the already ground masala paste.
8.Add:
1 spoon dhaniya powder
½ spoon garam masala
Mix well and cook until oil releases.
9.Add 750 ml water and salt as per taste.
10.Boil for 15–20 minutes on low flame.
11.Finally, garnish with coriander leaves.
Parota sherva is ready to serve.
