I ran Pendle in 22:42 and finished 4th. I nearly gave up at the last hill, it was a tough one. I had a great time.
Thank you to the volunteers, runners and tailwalkers. Everyone was friendly.
I highly recommend this event because it is very hilly. In particular this event is a very quiet and quite a small with only 68 runners and 20 volunteers. I highly recommend this event if you want a peaceful two lap course.
Before the event, I wanted to find the wooden acorn, the owl and the squirrel. I could not find the squirrel until during the run. The Park itself was quite scenic and it was through a football field and the floor conditions was not to bad, I can imagine in the WInter and Autumn months being quite muddy and slippery.
I upgraded from the Fitbit Versa 3 to the Garmin Forerunner 255. The Garmin Coach Plan really peaked my interest, lets see if the watch is not all hype and does improve my speed, technique and breathing... but digress.
