Gone Again

When the night gets quiet and the streets forget my name,
Every echo turns to smoke, every doorway looks the same.
I walk beside my shadows like they’re all I’ve ever known,
Talking to the silence like it’s someone on the phone.

The world feels like it’s shrinking
