We were introduced to Tom by our friend Howard (star of Episode 75 with his 1987 Dodge Ram Charger and '74 Plymouth Satellite) at a recent car show, where Tom had his jaw-dropping '55 Nomad on display. After a quick conversation about his collection, we knew we had to pay Tom a visit. What we discovered was a true car guy who’s been buying and selling hotrods since his teenage years. Tom doesn’t just collect - he drives everything, and every vehicle in his garage has a surprise under the hood.

The Chevy Nomad is one of the most iconic American wagons ever made - part of the legendary Tri-Five (1955–1957). With its sporty roofline, wraparound rear glass, and sleek two-door design, the Nomad stood out from every other wagon on the road. Originally marketed as a premium family car with style and power, it became a favorite among hotrodders and collectors alike. Today, a well-preserved Nomad - especially a ‘55 or ’56 - is a showstopper, and Tom's examples are among the finest we’ve seen.
