Only lightly (and perhaps subjectively) gothic, this drama nonetheless stirs up familiar implications of a painted image capturing the soul of its subject... Shades of Dorian Gray, of course, though as I say - only lightly gothic. Nonetheless - Lindsay Duncan and James Laurenson leading the cast ought to pique the interest of any radio drama enthusiast...
