New York Central

Описание: On March 2nd 2025 I got another call that MBTAs newest New York Central Heritage unit was on my line and was heading my way so I got in my car and darted to West Hingham.

When I got there I had 10 minutes to spare due to crossings freezing on the line. Eventually 1036 finally rolls into the station after going 15 MPH through them.

After it’s arrival at West Hingham I hopped in my car (shoutout to my friend for the chase shots) I instantly darted to Cohasset since there is a siding at that station but when I arrived I happen to see Transit police on scene and then in the next moment I happen to find out those and the ones down the street from the station are ALSO FROZEN! this gave me plenty of time to get good shots of the unit pulling in and a Great hornshow.

After Cohasset I went directly for Greenbush due to the train picking up speed and there we see it come into the station where it finally stops for me to check out the whole unit.

Surprisingly not even 15 minutes later the crew were doing a brake test and already had the set ready for departure on the next inbound.

As the train leaves Greenbush I once again speed back to Nantasket where I wrap up the video unfortunately the train made an express the whole way to Boston so I couldn’t get a chance to do the last shot like I planned.
