Day 6

I found the monster in the Key Cavern. It was a giant slimy eye that split into two when I rammed it with my sword. I destroyed the monster and found the Sea Lily's Bell. The voice told me to look behind the waterfall. But...there must be many waterfalls here on Koholint!
The owl wasn't much help when he greeted me as I left the cavern. Although, he did tell me that I should go to Yarna Desert to find out how to get to the next dungeon. Maybe the waterfall is actually a sandfall?
I rested at Mabe Village and built up some supplies. Something strange called to me as I was walking through town this morning. Marin told me that was the Dream Shrine. It's supposed to contain something powerful. I went inside and all that was there was a bed. The shrine itself must be in the dream world.
I went to sleep and I dreamed I was in a tall building. There were strange monsters around me, but I had to climb to the top of the shrine and see what was there. There resting on the pedestal was a red ocarina. Right when I picked it up, I woke up. The ocarina was still in my hands.
I showed it to Marin. She doesn't understand how it happened either, but she did want to teach me how to play it. We played a very beautiful song together called "Ballad of the Wind Fish." It sounded familiar. I think one of the instruments must have played it.
Marin told me that Yarna Desert is by Animal Village. I plan to head over there in the morning.
