Cramming for a sub-3 marathon never sounds smart, but life doesn’t always give you perfect timing.
This week I trained 10 hours while juggling work, recovery, and a tight 5-week timeline before race day. And I did it on just under 40 miles or 60 kilometers. The goal: find out if non run-specific fitness can carry me through a marathon build without the traditional 60-70+ mile (100+ KM) weeks.
