Jamie’s got legs as thick as most people’s waist, so of course we’re gonna want to know his leg day routine! 🦵 It starts with some resistance band stretches and high rep moves with light weight, like hamstring curls and leg extensions.
After getting warmed up, he pumps out high rep heavy leg presses with multiple drop sets and minimal rest. He gives some insight as to why he prefers knee sleeves over knee wraps, and how it’s different for bodybuilders versus powerlifters.
Next up in the workout are multiple sets of stiff legged deadlifts, glute ham raises and hip thrusters. While most dudes shy away from isolated glute work, Jamie dives right in. His reasoning is pretty simple - your glutes are still muscles, so train the damn things!! It’s not just for ladies!
He wraps up the workout with adductor and abductor work, and weighted calf raises. Training legs ain’t just about leg presses and deadlifts - you should be working every single muscle from your hips down to your feet!
