Residents of Ermelo in Mpumalanga, are calling on Cooperative Governance MEC, Mandla Msibi, to place the Msukaligwa Local Municipality under administration.
They also want their Mayor, Shirley Nkosi, and all her staff, fired. The group, mostly young people, took to the streets, before handing over a memorandum of demands.
The residents say their municipality has failed to provide them with basic services.
