How to Make The BEST Sourdough Waffles | Easy Sourdough Discard Recipe

Описание: I'll show you how to make the best sourdough waffles - churro waffles! One day, I got a wacky idea in the kitchen and decided to combine three of my favorite things: sourdough, waffles, and churros! The concoction turned out to be fast, easy, and so delicious. They are crispy on the outside and moist and fluffy on the inside. These waffles are perfect for brunch or dessert and this is a great way to use discard if you have any! The starter is optional so you can still make this recipe if you don’t have a starter.

Recipe (4 waffles)
​​½ cup milk (any type of dairy or non-dairy milk)
½ cup water
¼ tsp of salt
1 Tbs sugar
4 Tbs butter
125g or ¾ cup white flour (I’m using bread flour but use all purpose if you have it)
2 eggs
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Optional 2 Tbs starter (can be from fridge or room temperature, fed or unfed)

Extra 2 tbs melted butter for brushing
Cinnamon sugar for dusting: 2/3 cup white sugar with 2 tsp cinnamon
