We take a look at the Amtrak and New Jersey Transit trains at Newark Penn Station in the early 1990's. Motive power includes Amtrak AEM-7's, E60CP's, NJT ALP44, and GP40FH-2, GP40P, F40PH and GP40PH-2B as well as the NJT "Arrow" MU cars. Newark is on Amtrak's busy Northeast Corridor line West of New York City and is the largest city in the state of New Jersey. PATH - Port Authority Trans- Hudson trains run to NYC and Hoboken. NJT Raritan Valley line trains originated and terminated here at this time. We briefly visit the Newark City Subway PCC Cars as well
