Takanobu Kurosaki was shortlisted in ZWO Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2025 with his image 'Rotation'.
Learn more about Takanobu, who runs a traditional bathhouse with his mother. He explains how his father's passing in 2000 led him to abandon photography for almost ten years, but a serious accident helped him rediscover the beauty of life and fall in love with astrophotography. Takanobu also explains how the Ferris wheel at Mirage Land in Japan is a source of inspiration for him, how he took 'Rotation', and the special meaning behind the photo.
