Myers, M.D., associate chair of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), describes department of medicine programs and initiatives aimed at increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the healthcare workplace both at Montefiore Einstein and beyond. This includes, but is not limited to, increasing the diversity of trainees and members of the department of medicine; creating an inclusive workspace for all department members; devising health equity metrics; and training members of the department on issues of DEI. Dr. Myers is also an associate professor of medicine (endocrinology).
