In this 15-minute floor yoga session, we stay low and grounded the entire time — no standing poses, with Downward Facing Dog being our most upright shape. Every movement and breath in this practice is specifically chosen to activate your parasympathetic nervous system — your body's natural rest-and-digest response.
What we practice:
✦ Box Breathing to lower cortisol and calm the mind
✦ Gentle spinal twists to release physical tension
✦ Child's Pose and Sphinx for deep vagus nerve stimulation
✦ Downward Dog as a mild inversion to shift blood flow to the brain
✦ Seated and supine forward folds for extended exhale and cortisol reduction
✦ Legs Up the Wall or Reclined Butterfly to close and fully absorb the practice
