Hi everyone, it’s match day, as we head down to the capital tonight and over to East London for Charlton Athletic vs Stoke City at The Valley.

It was point on the road for the Potters against West Bromwich Albion, where Stoke held firm and did look solid in defence, proving why they still have the best defensive record in the Championship. Stoke were very unlucky on the day not to grab all 3 points, with numerous chances created and Bosun Lawal had the best chance, he was unmarked and missed from close range, which again came from another Sorba Thomas cross.

Stoke take on Charlton tonight, with the Potter’s record in the capital standing at only one win in 41 games, played in and around London. The Potter’s will be cautious of EX Stoke manager Nathan Jones, who will be out for revenge tonight, after losing the reverse fixture 3-0 in November.

Can the Potters get that win today? And who will be beating their chests come full time?

My prediction today, is for a 2-0 Stoke win, I think we will have too much quality for Charlton, and I just hope we can start putting away these chances, although I am very wary of Nathan Jones, he will be out for us tonight.
