Zauraiz is currently pursuing an International Health MSc program at Heidelberg University, Germany under the prestigious DAAD scholarship. He was also awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship in public health. After his undergraduate from International Islamic University, he built his global public experience as a research assistant with a research program led by the University of York (funded by NIH) where he worked on improving mental health and physical multi-morbidity among vulnerable populations in South Asia.
About DAAD scholarship:
DAAD scholarships are aimed primarily at graduates, doctoral students and postdocs and are awarded for study and research visits to universities and non-university research institutions in Germany. In some programmes, internships are also funded.
