Hey everyone! This month's hat is based off of Wreck It Ralph's cutest character, Vanellope Von Schweetz. I think it turned out so cute and the brim really adds her spicy personality. I hope you guys enjoy this hat.

Items Used:
Clover Bamboo 16" circular needles size 7 (4.5mm) & 9 (5.5mm)
I Love This Yarn in Seablue Tweed (5oz, 252yrds, 4ply med, 1 ball)

Print This Pattern:

Size:
Average Adult 19"-22"

Gauge:
16 sts and 24 rows = 4" in Diamond Pattern, with large needle

Instructions:
With size 7 needles, cast on 84 sts.
Work a 1x1 rib, K1, P1 for 3/4".
Inc Row: *K3, m1; rep from * around - 112 sts
Switch to size 9 needles
Work 1-8 of Diamond Pattern 3 times.

Diamond Pattern: (multiples of 8 sts)
Rnd 1: *K4, P1, K3; rep from * around.
Rnd 2: *K3, P1, K1, P1, K2; rep from * around.
Rnd 3: *K2, P1, K3, P1, K1; rep from * around.
Rnd 4: *K1, P1, K5, P1; rep from * around.
Rnd 5: *P1, K7; rep from * around.
Rnd 6 Rep Rnd 4: *K1, P1, K5, P1; rep from * around.
Rnd 7 Rep Rnd 3: *K2, P1, K3, P1, K1; rep from * around.
Rnd 8 Rep Rnd 2: *K3, P1, K1, P1, K2; rep from * around.
Rep Rows 1 through 8 to form Diamond Pattern.

Then work Rows 1-4 of pattern once more.

Decrease:
Dec Rnd 1: *P1, K7, P1, K2, S2KP (sl 2 sts knitwise, k1, PSSO) K2; rep from * around - 98 sts
Rnd 2: *K1, P1, K5, P1, K6; rep from * around.
Rnd 3: *K2, P1, K3, P1, K3, S2KP, K1; rep from * around - 84 sts
Rnd 4: *K3, P1, K1, P1, K6; rep from * around
Rnd 5: *K4, P1, K4, S2KP; rep from * around - 70 sts
Rnd 6: Knit.
Rnd 7: *K7, S2kp; rep from * around - 56 sts
Rnd 8: Knit.
Rnd 9: *K5, S2KP; rep from * around - 42 sts
Rnd 10: Knit.
Rnd 11: *K3, S2KP; rep from * around - 28 sts
Rnd 12: Knit
Rnd 13: *k1, S2KP; rep from * around - 14 sts

Cut yarn, pull tight to close top of hat and weave in ends.
