Ken Griffin, citizen member, CAC, asks whether Atkins is concerned about a shutdown of the project due to funding cuts. Atkins discusses the reason for her decision to reroute the Static Detonation Chamber (SDC) units to the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP) as a contingency. Velma Campbell, citizen member, CAC, asks Atkins to explain the issues with the BGCAPP SDC units.
• At approximately 21:22, Sheila Johnson, director, CMA-West, provides an update on the recent nightly gate closure and impacts from the executive orders on CMA-West. She states that full support will remain for PCAPP in the closure process and the environmental work on site. Griffin asks about current security force numbers on the installation.
• At approximately 24:20, Russell DeSalvo, president and chief executive officer, PuebloPlex, discusses activities surrounding a grant application for a new redevelopment plan for the entire area, including the PCAPP parcel. He noted interest from outside prospects, including data centers, energy providers and aerospace companies. John Norton, citizen member, CAC, asks whether there is interest by any nuclear companies.
• At approximately 28:36, Colleen Brisnehan, hazardous waste program manager, CDPHE, provides an update on permitting activity, including three main-plant permit modifications and two notices of deficiency.
• At approximately 33:50, Walton Levi, site project manager, PCAPP, opens the project status update. Todd Ailes, project manager, Bechtel Pueblo Team, discusses plant safety and permitting status. Brian Ramdwar, plant manager, PCAPP, provides details on work updates in the Agent Processing Building, Munitions Treatment Room and off-gas treatment system, and the Explosion Containment Rooms. He gives information about upcoming work in the still operational Air Filtration Area.
• At approximately 50:27, Ailes provides additional information about the schedule for reuse reports (RR) and demolition readiness reports (DRR) for the main plant and SDC complex.
• At approximately 51:50, Levi explains the reformatting of the RR and DRR progress reports.
• At approximately 53:13, Ailes reports on reductions in staffing and recent workforce transition activities.
• At approximately 53:52, Levi provides an update on waste generation and shipping. Griffin and Norton ask about the cash flow and current funding of the project.

PCAPP is a state-of-the-art facility that completed the safe destruction of the chemical weapons stockpile at PCD in Pueblo, Colorado, in June 2023.
