Today, it’s a green, organized, and accessible public space.
In this video, I tell the full story of how Dvirtseva Square in Lviv was transformed — why it stayed unchanged for over a century, what exactly was wrong with it, and how the city finally managed to fix it with a relatively small budget.
This is not just a “before & after” story.
It’s a case study about transport planning, public space, political compromises, and how even imperfect solutions can drastically improve everyday life.
