Proximus Caesar Suite | Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (Original Soundtrack) by John Paesano

Описание: Proximus has been front and center in the marketing for this film, and while I'll keep my unsavory thoughts of his character execution for the comments, his performance was absolutely captivating. There's a plethora of action music in this film that accompanies his legion's many battle scenes, but his motif doesn't appear until he first enters the film. A simple three note horn motif with a following descending phrase, played on brass and accompanied by that classic tribal Apes sound that this franchise is associated with. There's also this drum pattern associated with him that appears in the last two tracks of this suite. I wish this theme was used in more action sequences to further push his presence over the whole score, but all in all it's a damn good villain theme that perfectly fits in alongside the likes of Giacchino's themes for the past villains.
