Описание: We live in a time where we're seeing a lot more diversity in film and media, and it's become a sore spot for a lot of people. But personally, seeing them change what was Atlantis in the comics into something as distinct and culturally rich as Mayan and Aztec culture and architecture is something I'm so happy to see as a Hispanic myself. DC beat them to the punch with Atlantis, so they instead used the opportunity to turn Namor's kingdom into a unique culture that shines a lot on the Aztec and Mayan people of yonder. It's a really cool thing to see personally, and I'm really happy to see my people represented in big movies like this. Moving onto the Sirens theme however, it utilizes the Mesoamerican instrumentation that was once prevalent in those cultures before being lost to time and colonialism. I can't even describe what the sounds are, they're so unique and unlike anything else I've heard. For the Sirens themselves, a vocal hymn is hummed that represents their Siren call that lures others into the sea. It's deeply hypnotic and enchanting, as beautiful as it is foreboding and menacing. There's also shrill dolphin-like screeches used for their theme, and bellowing, guttural throat singing that you can't help but love.
