This was one of the most special moments of the 2025 Navajo Nation Fair: the crowning of the new Miss Navajo Nation Pow Wow Princess, Lalaina Juanita-Jean Becenti. 👑✨

I’ve had the honor of following Miss Shayla Yellowhair, our outgoing Princess, across Indian Country — from the Seminole Pow Wow in Florida to the Denver March Pow Wow — and watching her represent the Navajo Nation with pride and grace has been incredible. Seeing her crown the next Princess here in Window Rock was a full-circle moment, and I’m proud I was able to capture it on video.

Good luck to Lalaina Juanita-Jean Becenti as she carries the crown for 2025–2026! We’re all excited to see how she will represent the Navajo Nation in the coming year.
