Ingredients and Method for Cream Kunafa - on a pan! ❤️
In a pan, Add
300ml Milk
1 Tbsp Milk + 2 Tbsp Cornflour
2 Tbsp Sugar
Mix this well, continuously. No lumps should form. Once the consistency is thicker, Add
4 Tbsp Fresh Cream
2 Cubes of Cheese
2 Drops of Vanilla Essence.
Mix well till combined. Switch off the flame.
Take 250gms @switz Kunafa Dough. Roughly chop it and mix 1/2 Cup ( 80gms ) melted butter in it. Mix lightly with hands.
Now, Take a pan. Grease it well with oil or butter on all sides.
-Layer half Kunafa dough on this greased pan, press it well with the help of a spoon or masher (as shown in the video)
-Spread the prepared cream on this and also add some mozzarella cheese.
-Layer with remaining kunafa dough.
Now Keep a Tava on a stove. Let this tava heat up nicely.
Then, on low to medium flame, Place your Kunafa pan on this heated tava. Cover and let this cook for 12-15 mins.
(This is done to avoid direct heat touching the kunafa pan, to avoid any burning)
Now take another greased pan, Flip the Kunafa on this pan like shown in the video.
Cook till for 12-15 mins till it’s golden and crispy.
Pour sugar syrup and garnish with pistachios
(Make sure to let the pan cool down before adding sugar syrup and pistachios ❤️)
