Come, Ye Sinners, Poor and Wretched (Weekly Hymn Project)

Описание: Today's hymns is "Come, Ye Sinners, Poor and Wretched".

This was quite an unfamiliar hymn. I'm sure I've sung it at least once in the past, but maybe not much more than that. It is different being in a minor key and having that part in the refrain that is like a quick line down; but a good one still. Even if it doesn't appeal as much melodically, just have a look at the lyrics and you'll find a lot to meditate on. Pretty powerful really.

Lyrics:

Come, ye sinners, poor and wretched,
Weak and wounded, sick and sore;
Jesus ready stands to save you,
Full of pity, joined with pow’r:
