The Last Thornlie Line Trains & Last C Pattern Trains Before the Shutdown

Описание: Apart from the actual last Armadale Line train on the night (   • The Last Train to Armadale Before the Shut...  ), enthusiasts also rode the last Thornlie Line trains in both directions, and the last trains on the C pattern, which was actually at around 10PM due to the concert, also in both directions.

The last Thornlie Line train was scheduled to be a Perth-bound service leaving Thornlie at 9:50PM on the night (again due to the concert), with the last Thornlie-bound one arriving at 9:45. Everyone thought this was going to be the same train but for some reason Transperth decided to have different trains operating them and use both platforms at Thornlie that late at night. With the Thornlie-bound train that everyone was on being over four minutes late, things didn't go so well and there was literally under twenty seconds at Thornlie to switch trains. Not everyone made it. Only three people actually did, including me. This is honestly quite sad considering that that was the last ever train to start service at Thornlie Station, a really poor bit of planning by Transperth for the services. I want everyone to keep in mind what I also emphasised as a note at that point in the video; that it wasn't really a good idea to try and force the doors open to let others get on, and to please not take our excitement and attitude at that moment seriously, we were just fooling around with all the energy and excitement we still had at that time of night. Several parts of the video where there was inappropriate content have been muted, especially since what I and others said at the time does not reflect my present thoughts on what happened.

Anyway, this is still a historic video to commemorate these last services on the one-stop spur line to Thornlie, and also probably the end for regular skipping patterns on the Armadale Line, which means on the whole Transperth network!
