Yes non-vegans can ask why fake turkey instead of a real one. Here is why, the real turkey has to be tortured and killed just for us to enjoy it's dead body. And that didn't seem necessary when there is an alternate option where you enjoy the taste of roasted turkey by using wheat protein.
As you know, vegans do not become vegans because they hate the taste of meat. We become vegan because we are against animal cruelty.
I am so happy with the outcome of this Vegan Seitan Turkey and it was a hit with my non-vegan family!
YdaJun's plant-based kitchen did not disappoint!
