Echo unit - the mono version

I have had these PT2399 echo ICs, that I bought a late night on WISH, for a while so I thought I might use some of them as intended. The echo unit I make in this video is sort of like a preparatory project for something bigger (I hope this word is correct - I asked Google for a "word for something you do before the more important thing" and it suggested 'preparatory' and to me that sounded reasonably reasonable and also somewhat cool).
The 'mono version' in the title also implies that my next video will probably be about a stereo version and maybe something more..... if everything goes to plan.

YouTube content match could not recognise what I am playing on my Yamaha HE-8 organ during the build process. This can mean two things: 1. My playing has gotten worse lately, or 2. The song I play is so obscure that there is no digital file on it in the content match library. But the title is "Jimmy (don't need me anymore)", a song about a failed...... I think the right word is 'bromance', though this word was not known yet in 1983 where the song was a moderate hit in Scandinavia for Norweigian singer Jon Petter Westerlund, who really wanted to sound like he was an American, so he billed himself as 'J. P. West'.
