In this episode we hike from the our hotel in San Ignacio to the ancient hilltop Maya settlement of Cahal Pech, one of the oldest Maya settlements in Belize. Then we take our first overland trip deep into the Belizian jungle to learn about and explore the ancient Maya ruins of Caracol. We climb the tallest Maya temple in Belize… and may have awaken an ancient curse in the process! Seriously!
Also, a sneak peak of our next episode where we venture deeper into the jungle in Guatemala to seek out more knowledge of the ancient Maya civilization.
