Walkthrough of the Foulclaw pet battle on Argus showing you the fastest, easiest Foulclaw strategy for your world quest as well as every family specific Foulclaw strategy to get the Foulclaw step of your Family Fighter achievement done! Apparently the Greater Apocalypse is actually not all Argus pet bosses, just many of them. Shadeflicker for one is being quite the rebel.

There are eighteen battle pet bosses on Argus in Patch 7.3. You are ONLY rewarded for fighting an Argus pet boss by doing its World Quest if said world quest is up. Outside of that, you may fight the Argus pet bosses as many times as you like (to work on your Family Fighter achievement, for example) but you won't be seeing pet supplies or any kind of reward from the battle. The Argus pet bosses do not have backline- you fight the one Legendary pet boss and that's it. They all have the Boss ability meaning they take 50% reduced damage and cannot be dealt more than 35% of their health in one hit. Also, the Argus Pet Bosses all have this Greater Apocalypse that kills your team and ends the fight no matter what after 20 rounds.

Family Fighter is an achievement which requires beating each of the 18 Argus pet bosses with a family specific team of each type. Eighteen bosses and ten families (Beast, Aquatic, Critters, Elemental, Humanoid, Mechanical, Dragonkin, Flying, Magic and Undead) means you'll need to complete 180 pet battles in order to finish Family Fighter in 7.3 and earn your Felclaw Marsuul.

Foulclaw Beast Strategy - for Beast Blitz Foulclaw I use the P/P breed Zandalari Anklerender/Kneebiter with Black Claw and Hunting Party. For backup use more of the same or Beast pets with Stampede.

Foulclaw Aquatic Strategy - for Aquatic Assault Foulclaw I use Mongooses and Civets (there are many varieties). Each one should be the breed with 289 speed on the dog, and set the moves to Gnaw, Screech and Dive.

Foulclaw Critter Strategy - for Critical Critters Foulclaw I use three roaches (variety doesn't matter but breed does- again, 289 speed) with Hiss and Swarm.

Foulclaw Elemental Strategy - for Elemental Escalation Foulclaw I use the Tiny Bog Beast with Crush/Leap/Rampage, Cinder Kitten with Claw/Prowl and the Core Hound Pup with Howl/Burrow.

Foulclaw Humanoid Strategy - for Humanoid Havoc Foulclaw I use Lil Bad Wolf with Bite/Howl/Dodge and Hogs with Stampede/Headbutt.

Foulclaw Mechanical Strategy - for Mechanical Melee Foulclaw I use a Cogblade Raptor Bite/Screech/Exposed Wounds and a Mechanical Squirrel/Tiny Harvester with Thrash/Adrenaline.

Foulclaw Dragonkin Strategy - for Draconic Destruction Foulclaw I use three Chrominiuses (don't judge) with Bite/Howl/Surge of Power.

Foulclaw Flying Strategy - for Fierce Fliers Foulclaw I use Ikky (Black Claw/Flock) and a Veilwatcher Hatchling with Predatory Strike.

Foulclaw Magic Strategy - for Magical Mayhem Foulclaw I use the Mini Mindslayer Eyeblast/Amp Magic/ Life Exchange, Sanctum Cub Pounce/Leap/Dodge and a Jade Owl with Thrash/Adrenaline Rush.

Foulclaw Undead Strategy - for Unstoppable Undead Foulclaw I use an Unborn Val'kyr Shadow Shock / Curse of Doom/ Unholy Ascenscion, a Macabre Marionette with Dead Mans Party and a Risen Saber Kitten with Screech/Pounce.
