One can get Avalanche Rod only in the 2nd Camp at Overgrowth Caves of the Northern Summit. First of all, purchase the Basic Oxygen Cylinders from the nearby npc on the Base Camp & Equip it.
Avalanche Rod is a stage 3 rod with some good stats. Keep Climbing till you reach the 2nd Camp at Overgrowth Caves. Also, keep your Oxygen Tank equipped or otherwise your Oxygen Level will drop quickly. Furthermore, you will find the Avalanche Rod at these exact Coordinates "19770, 415, 5415." Also, be aware of Avalanche on your way to the 2nd Camp.
Avalanche Rod offers stats like 40% Lure Speed, 68% Luck, 0.15 Control, 10% Resilience, 65,000 Max Weight Carrying Capacity 70 meter long line. The Avalanche Rod will cost you about C$35,000 & has a 25% chance of mutating the fish with Sleet Mutation. You will find the Avalanche Rod exactly next to a tent at Overgrowth Caves, the second camp.
