Swift work is underway to complete the rail route between Katra and Banihal. Rail tracks have been laid in a significant portion of the 111-kilometer long rail route. Signaling and telecom work is in progress. The work of laying the rail tracks between Anji Bridge and Reasi Station along with Bakkal Station to Dugga Railway Station, including the Chenab Railway Bridge, has been completed. Electric poles have been installed, and now the overhead equipment (OHE) installation work is in progress.
